Driving

South Pass City is off WYO 28, 35 miles southwest of Lander, WY. You shouldn't have any trouble finding the town with your GPS. Here are approximate driving times from “big” cities:

• Salt Lake City, UT: 3:45

• Denver, CO: 5:45

• Jackson, WY: 3:00

• Sheridan, WY: 4:45

• Pocatello, ID: 4:30

• Boise, ID: 7:30

• Bozeman, MT: 6:30

• Atlantic City, WY: 0:19

• Atlantic City, NJ: 29:30

Flying

There are several small airports relatively close to South Pass City, like Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport. If you’re planning to travel by plane, however, we recommend flying into Salt Lake City (SLC) and then driving three hours and 45 minutes. SLC is a large International airport.
