Drop Bags
Locations:
Start: 50K and 30K
Great Divide: 50K only
All runners may leave a bag at the start with gear that is wanted before the race and will be delivered to the finish. 50K runners may drop an additional bag for the Great Divide Aid Station. Runners may bring their drop bags to the start of the race and the Aid Station Captain will deliver your drop bag to the aid station and finish line.
Size
Please, limit your drop bags to 25 L.
Packaging
While we will do our best to handle your drop bags carefully, please package them securely. Your drop bags will be exposed to sun, water, hot air, cold air and some jostling in the bed of a pickup.
Labeling
Drop bags should be clearly labeled with (1) your name and (2) bib number.
Returning
Start line drop bags will be delivered to the finish by 11:00 AM. Aid station volunteers will return Great Divide drop bags to the finish at 11:45 AM and 2:00 PM, or once the aid station closes. Please locate drop bags next to the big white tent.
If drop bags are left at the finish, we will mail your items for a flat rate of $20. Unclaimed bags will be donated to local runners and through hikers.
